I’m Naily Makangu. I’ve spent much of my career helping people make sense of complicated technology. This is where I get to explore everything that doesn’t fit neatly into a job description.
From code to people
I started my career writing software in C++. These days, I work at the intersection of technology, product strategy and people — helping founders and teams get unstuck, make better decisions and build things that actually work.
I’m the founder of Athena Leaders ↗, a fractional Product and Technology Leader, a keynote speaker and a workshop facilitator. I also support early-stage entrepreneurs as a Director at Founder Institute London.
Why this space exists
Work is only one part of the story. I’m fascinated by how people think, learn, lead and change. Technology and AI feature here, of course. But so do mindset, books, experiments, everyday observations and the occasional opinion that may evolve after another cup of coffee.
This is a space to think out loud. Some posts will be practical. Others more personal. Some might be unfinished ideas that become clearer through writing.
